DAY 1: ARRIVAL DAY

Upon arrival in Belgrade, you will be met by our local representative in the arrivals area of the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Free time. Overnight..

DAY 2: BELGRADE GRAND CITY TOUR

Breakfast. Start your second day with a driving and walking sightseeing tour that includes all top attractions of Belgrade. First we drive through Kneza Milosa street, one of the most important streets in Belgrade, which is also home to major administrative buildings such as Government of Serbia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as several embassies. We will pass by the Former Army Headquarters Building also known as Serbian General Staff, that was partially destroyed during NATO bombing in 1999.

Next, visit Avala Mountain, located approx. 15km from Belgrade. At the top - 511m above the sea level, see the Monument of the Unknown Hero. Avala discover will be done with a visit to Avala Tower - telecommunication and observation tower, destroyed on 29th of April, 1999 by NATO, and rebuilt in 2010.

Continue with a short drive to Saint Sava Temple, the second largest Orthodox church in Europe with stunning crypt and the main dome filled with mosaics that will leave you completely breathless. We continue our drive all the way to the main city center. On our way to the Republic Square we will pass by Tasmajdan Park, National Assembly of Republic of Serbia, Old and New Palace, charming Terazije Square with beautiful hotel "Moskva."

On the Republic Square, the heart of the city, you will see National Theatre, National Museum and the monument dedicated to one of the greatest Serbian rulers, prince Mihailo Obrenovic. Stroll through the main shopping and pedestrian street zone called Knez Mihailova Street, to Kalemegdan Fortress, number one attraction in the city. See the rivers, and soak in panoramic views of New Belgrade, Zemun and Sava and the Danube confluence.

Drop off to your hotel. Free afternoon and evening. Overnight.

DAY 3: NORTHERN SERBIA TOUR: FRUSKA GORA, SREMSKI KARLOVCI AND NOVI SAD WITH WINE TASTING 

Breakfast. On the third day of your visit to Belgrade we will do a full-day tour to Northern Serbia and the city of Novi Sad, the second largest city in Serbia, located only 60 miles from Belgrade. On your way to this astonishing city we will visit two more locations in order for you to completely explore Northern part of Serbia called Vojvodina. First on our route is Fruska Gora Mountain called Serbian Holy Mountain and monastery Krusedol built in 16th century.

Next stop is Sremski Karlovci small city located at the foot of Fruska Gora and on the right bank of the Danube river. Before we start exploring this charming little town, we will visit local wine cellar and taste special wines of this area.

Continue with a short drive to Petrovaradin fortress. Called "Gibraltar on the Danube" due to its location and size it is number one attraction in the city of Novi Sad. It represents one of the best preserved artillery bastions in Europe with more than 16 km of underground ways and tunnels. After exploring the fortress, we will proceed to the main city center to see all top attractions such as Serbian National Theatre, City Hall, Cathedral, etc.

Free time in Novi Sad. Return to Belgrade in early evening hours. Drop off to your accommodation. Free evening. Overnight.

DAY 4: GEMS OF EASTERN SERBIA TOUR

Breakfast. 

Tour starts at 8 a.m. from your accommodation in Belgrade. Less than 2 hours drive will take us to our first stop monastery Manasija, built in 14th century as the endowment of Serbian King Stefan Lazarevic.

The tour continues with a short drive to Resava Cave, 80-million-year-old cave, discovered in 1962. Nowadays this is one of the most visited caves within Balkans, due to the richness of cave formations: stalagmites and stalactites. Tour inside the cave will last for 40 minutes, wearing some warmer clothes (jackets) is recommended.

Next, see Veliki Buk waterfall, one of Eastern Serbia top attractions. Here in this breathtaking environment, a break for lunch will be made and you will have the great opportunity to try the best trout fish in Serbia.

Krupaj spring, located 30km from Veliki Buk waterfall is next on your route. Turquoise water of this spectacular spring will leave you completely breathless.

Return to Belgrade in early evening hours. Drop off to your accommodation. Free evening. Overnight.

DAY 5: DEPARTURE DAY

After breakfast at your hotel, it's time to say goodbye to this charming city. Transfer to airport. End of service.
